Klimt 2 has been chosen to inspire creativity, imagination and a love of learning throughout the year. Gustav Klimt was an artist who was known for his bold ideas, intricate patterns and unique way of seeing the world, reminding us that everyone can express themselves in different ways. As a class, we will embrace creativity alongside our other curriculum drivers of curiosity and perseverance, encouraging children to ask questions, think deeply, take risks and learn from challenges. Together, we will celebrate individuality, resilience and the joy of creating, exploring and achieving our very best.
Snowdonia Class

Nature, outdoors and adventure is an important part of our school. Nature, outdoors and adventure is an important part of our school. Therefore, we are named after a Welsh landscape of mountains and valleys, forests, and lakes. Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) stands at 3,560 feet (1,085 meters) and is the highest point in Wales and England. Snowdonia is abundant with flora and fauna, including endangered alpine flowers, such as the Snowdon Lily. Foxes, mice, voles, ponies, cattle, sheep, goats, ponies, reptiles, amphibians, insects, mountain birds, birds of prey and insects all inhabit Snowdonia. National parks such as Eryri play an essential role in mitigating the effects of climate change. Peatlands are fantastic carbon stores and there are 17 million tonnes of carbon stored in the peatlands of Eryri. Experiencing and coming into contact with nature in areas such as national parks can also improve our mental and physical health and well-being.
