Welcome to Sutton-at-Hone

Headteacher Welcome

There is a real privilege in serving the children and families of the community, helping them to reach their potential and become the best that they can be. This is a feeling shared by all of the staff, and together, we work hard to provide a wide and enriching curriculum for our children giving them opportunities to thrive and flourish. We love all of the children in our school and celebrate the unique qualities that each and every one of them brings to the family that we call Sutton-at-Hone CofE Primary School.

About Sutton-at-Hone Primary

Sutton-at-Hone Church of England Primary School is a place of learning that, through a strong sense of Christian values, endeavours to provide each individual child with a broad, balanced, relevant, progressive and differentiated curriculum.

We believe that at all stages of a child’s development, learning should be a stimulating, enjoyable and worthwhile experience in its own right, accessed by all regardless of sex, race, religious belief, cultural background or disability.

The school is important to the life of the village it serves and seeks to maintain and strengthen its existing strong links with the Church and the local community.

We are a part of Aletheia Academies Trust. Our school promotes a safe, orderly, caring, and supportive environment. Positive relationships with staff and effective communication with parents foster each pupil’s self-esteem. We strive to include our parents, teachers, governors and community to ensure strong liaisons with the community
