Our Year 3 class is called Cook after the explorer Captain James Cook. We chose this name because he was known for being curious, adventurous, and always ready to discover new things. Just like explorers, we will go on our own learning journey this year—asking lots of questions, trying our best, and exploring exciting new ideas together. In Cook Class, we know that every challenge is a chance to learn something new, and we can’t wait to see where our adventures take us!

Howard Carter was a British archaeologist who discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun after years of hard work and determination. He never gave up on his dream, even when faced with challenges.
We have chosen Howard Carter as our class name because he inspires us to be curious, persevere, and always do our best.
