Year 6

Welcome to Year 6

Logarithm Class

Year 6 Class Teacher: Miss L Greenbank

Year 6 Teaching Assistants: Mr D Luckings

A logarithm is a way to find out how many times we multiply one number to get another. For example, 10 × 10 = 100, so the logarithm of 100 is 2. Logarithms help us understand big numbers and are a useful tool in maths and science.

Algorithm Class

Year 6 Class Teacher: Miss G Dinan

Year 6 Teaching Assistants: Mr D Luckings

An algorithm is a list of steps you follow to solve a problem or get something done. In maths, we use algorithms to help us add, subtract, multiply, and divide. They help us work things out in the right order and make sure we get the correct answer.
