In March 2020 we had our OFSTED inspection and the outcome was that we continue to be a GOOD school, here are some of the findings from the inspection:

‘Pupils are proud of their school, their own achievements and those of others. They are happy and thrive in this trusting and caring environment’.

‘There are very positive relationships between pupils and with adults. Pupils work and play exceptionally well together’.

‘Sutton-at-Hone provides a good quality education and pupils achieve well’.

SIAMS 2016

In January 2016 we had our Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS). We were graded as ‘GOOD’, here are some of the findings from the inspection:

‘The distinctiveness and effectiveness of Sutton-at-Hone as a Church of England school are good’

‘Pupil behaviour is of a very high standard and reflects the strong, positive and caring relationships across the school. These are based on the school’s inclusive Christian values.’

‘Pupils are treated consistently and yet as individuals, precious to God. As such they develop self-confidence and respectful attitudes towards others.’

‘Sutton-at-Hone is a welcoming and happy school community with a strong sense of caring and belonging.’

‘Behaviour is of an extremely high quality. Pupils are encouraged to be self-confident, polite and respectful.’
